The Viper II™ video module set for transmitting and receiving SDI video signals plus two AES audio
Get datasheet
Telecast's 6269 fiber optic serial digital video/AES audio
modules offer the industry's highest SDI transmission performance in a flexible, easy to use package. Using only one fiber or wavelength, you get long distance transport of your digital video and AES audio signals. The module set supports the following ANSI/ SMPTE 259M signals:
- 270 Mbps Serial component
- DVB/ASI
Signal Expansion Options
Optional 4x video DA or 4 additional AES signals can be easily added to either side of your link to maximize your system.
And dual AES Audio, too!
The 6269 module set also digitally multiplexes and transports two asynchronous, unbalanced AES signals via BNC connectors, eliminating the need for embedders and de-embedders and simplifying your signal transport.
30 dB of Optical Margin
The 30 dB dynamic optical range gives you all the distance you need. The system will equalize up to 100 meters of incoming coax and a conveneient faceplate button on the RX toggles a built in reclocker.
On-board diagnostics show laser status and, on the RX, optical power level received.
These modules are available as "throw down" stand-alone units, or may be rack mounted in our Viper II card frames. Conversion kits are available for this purpose.
