RGB/VGA to DVI Converter

The Thor C Media Converter is designed to allow VGA sources to take advantage of flat panel displays using DVI inputs. The VGA to DVI converter automatically detects all known VGA resolutions and converts them to DVI signals. With a built-in scaler, the Media Converter can easily scale lower resolution VGA images to fit the latest digital resolutions. Also available are models that convert S-Video, Component Video, MDA, CGA, and EGA resolutions to DVI.

A user-friendly OSD menu can be used for unknown graphics sources in order to set them up quickly and easily. The RGB to DVI converter for RGsB, RGBS, RGB-HV and VGA supports video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz.

Telecast's new Thor-DA HDMI is a digital media distribution amplifier designed to drive up to 8 independent LCD, LED or Plasma flat panel displays.

The Thor HDMI DA is available in a four output and an eight output device, using the standard HDMI connector. Thor-DA supports HDMI 1.3 and is HDCP1.1 compliant on all outputs.

The Thor DE provides a quick and easy solution for connecting DVI sources to displays over just one fiber – either multimode or single-mode fiber using an SC optical connector.

Extends all VESA resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, at distances up to 1,000 meters. The self-programming function captures the display's EDID data and stores it in the transmitter. Each unit operates on a compact 5VDC adapter.

The Thor-HE HDMI Extender is an affordable solution for connecting equipment using the high definition, HDMI signal . The Thor-HE stretches your HDMI connectivity, offering the benefit of detachable cabling, with four (4) LC fiber connectors and a Cat 5e/6 connector.

The Thor-HE HDMI kit consists of transmitter and receiver modules with female HDMI connector. A four strand, multimode fiber cable with LC connectors provides 1080P operation and a Cat 5e/6 cable enables the unit to manage power and EDID/HDCP.

THOR HE offers extremely long-distance extension of uncompressed digital video, HDMI 1.3a and audio, up to 1000 meters (3280 feet) over just one single-mode fiber using an SC optical connector.

The THOR HE consists of transmitter and receiver pair which are designed to multiplex and de-multiplex the HD video. It includes a self-EDID programming feature detecting from the display and storing EDID information to an EEPROM in the transmitter and High Definition Copy Protection (HDCP).

The Thor-E Extender supports the transmission of DVI signals up to 1920 x 1200 or 2048 x 1152, along with HID for keyboard & mouse control. These units are designed to perform with excellent image quality using the Telecast high quality, multi-stage compression algorithm.

In addition, the Extender may be ordered with VGA inputs, USB 2.0, bi-directional analog audio or digital audio and RS-232 serial data. It is possible to extend either single monitor and dual-monitor signals up to 140m over Cat 5e/6, 400m over multimode fiber, or up to 10km over single-mode fiber cable.

Using the latest fiber optic technology for transmission, the Thor-EU performs flawlessly due to the uncompressed transfer of DVI data at full bandwidth without picture corruption or dropped frames. Resolutions up to 1920x1200 Single link and 2560x2048 Dual link is achieved.

The Thor-EU transports up to 400m (50/125) over multimode fiber. The high-density design allows up to 3 devices to be mounted into a 1RU tray. The units can be configured to support USB 2.0 transparent or USB-HID for keyboard/mouse or other types of devices such as touch screens. Optional built-in KVM switch for dual CPU operation.

The THOR HDMI CBL is an HDMI Extender that stretches your High-Definition 1080P Multimedia Interface connectivity up to 100 meters (330 ft).

The THOR HDMI CBL assembly for HDMI is a hybrid cable solution using multimode fibers for the RGB, clock and high-speed digital graphic signals and copper wires for the low frequency HDCP compliant control signals. The reality of gigabit high-speed digital graphic interconnections mandates products that maintain front-of-screen video quality. Host power or use an optional AC/DC power supply.

The THOR DisplayPort CBL is a Displayport Extender that stretches your High-Definition (up to 2560 x 1600) Apple or Dell media feed up to 100 meters (330 ft).

Optical technology for this transmission stretches the performance beyond the limitations of copper wire. DisplayPort supports single-lane transfer rates as fast as 2.7 Gbps. The hybrid cable assembly uses multimode fiber for the displayport interface and copper for the bidirectional auxiliary channel operating at 1 Mbps to enable link management and device control to comply with VESA's EDID (extended-display-identification) and MCCS (monitor-control-command-set) standards.
