Transport studio quality, 12-bit digitally encoded analog (NTSC/PAL/SECAM) video with four channels of 24-bit digitally multiplexed line level analog audio. The TX and RX5142 deliver broadcast quality video and audio on a single fiber/wavelength. Also provided are paths for a one-way data (RS232 or RS422) and one GPI closure. WDM and CWDM wavelengths are available for high capacity transmission in combination with other modules, such as Ethernet or HD/SDI video. Throw down units easily convert to one-slot wide rack mount modules.
For six channels of analog audio in a small package, there is the Viper II 5060 multiplexer module set. Also available in rack mount or throw down convertible packages.
